About
I’m Carrie. I’m an audiologist, but I also love to help people lead fulfilling lives. I remind students to give themselves permission to release anxiety, self-doubt, and fear to shine as clinicians by asking empowering questions and making radical suggestions.
My Passion
Yes, it is absolutely an anomaly that my first major career choice was made at summer camp when I was fifteen. While attending the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine (a conference to learn more about the diverse paths you can take in medicine and healthcare by shadowing different specialties), I was randomly assigned to audiology for every session. Since then, I have tirelessly worked to get exactly where I wanted to be, and did so in record time.
No, I do not suggest following me as an example of what to do (far from it, in fact). I made too many mental shortcuts. I definitely did not get here in the healthiest way possible.
So I tell people about my experiences to provide hope, encouragement, and genuine support.
My Goals
I facilitate a safe space for you by making time, listening, asking better questions, and providing radical suggestions while never judging or dismissing your concerns or ideas.
